Lex Luther Mushroom Spores

Description

These psilocybe cubensis spores are known as “Lex Luther” or “Cream Lex Luther” mushroom spores. These magic mushroom spores are typically found in bovine and equine dung, and in enriched soils. They are also found in subtropical climates. It is unclear exactly where the name for these magic mushroom spores came from, although it is likely named after Lex Luthor, a fictional villain in the Superman comic book universe.

These magic mushroom spores also end up known for their “spots” on top of the caps. These mushroom spores for sale also end up having caps that get viscid, or sticky, when moist.

The caps of Lex Luthor mushrooms end up being around 50-75 mm in diameter, and the color is usually reddish-brown. As the mushroom spores mature, the color may change to a more golden brown. They were also known as “stropharia cubensis” before the “psilocybe cubensis” term emerged. These magic mushroom spores were described as “stropharia cubensis” first in 1906 and is often associated with cattle ranching. This is because these mushrooms often grow in cattle dung.

The stems of Lex Luther mushrooms are also interesting in that they are usually about 200 mm or more. The stems are usually yellowish, but it could turn bluish-green upon bruising. 

Lex Luther – or Cream Lex Luther – psilocybin mushroom spores, also end up growing into mushrooms where dark spores show up at the stem once it matures enough.
